Endless skies, emerald waters lapping at the shoreline, sandy beaches, and sunshine warming you up from your head to your toes… Sounds like a dream, yeah? Well, that was the recipe for Kaleigh and Dakota’s Destin Beach wedding.

The wedding was held with their toes in the sand at The Pelican. Obviously, it was a deliriously perfect, photo-worthy day:

Kaliegh wore the sweetest wedding dress that fit seamlessly into the white sand and blue skies, and I love that Dakota wore a white button-up top, grey slacks, and suspenders that complimented her dress.

And I know what you’re thinking… what kind of shoes do you wear to a Destin beach wedding? Definitely not heels… The answer is Nothing! They went barefoot!

Why did you choose a Destin beach wedding?

“We chose this because it was close enough for our families to attend. It gave everyone an opportunity to take a vacation! Both our families needed a getaway! We didn’t want to take a honeymoon. We wanted a vacation with our sweet baby girl, Kendall. It was our first vacation as a couple and we finished it with our wedding. ,” Kaleigh said.
