As many of you know I’ve been on this unconventional fun location kick! So, I wanted a fun location. Fat Daddy’s Arcade in Destin, FL. What’s more fun than an arcade? I thought all the different colored lights would look amazing in my images. At the same time, I figured it would be very challenging since you can predict how the colors would work with my model’s skin and clothing.

About the Location – Fat Daddy’s Arcade

Fat Daddy’s Arcade in Destin, Florida is one of the area’s top attractions for family-friendly entertainment, featuring over 120 of the latest and greatest arcade games, in addition to traditional arcade favorites. During the summer this place is packed with vacationers from all over the United States. This is a must do while in the area. Plus you can get away from Florida’s summer heat for a few hours while still having fun.

About the Model

Today I want you to meet Leilah Andino. Confident, sweet, and fun are the words that come to mind when I think about this young woman. I think Leilah was the perfect model. She’s young, fun, chic, and trendy!

Leilah is a Junior at Freeport High School. She runs track for the schools Varsity Team. She also has a passion for photography. She’s made photography not only a hobby but as a mini business. Check out her work at www.instagram.com/leilahmariephotography.

I asked Leilah what she thought about the location. She said, “It was different and reflected my vibe.”

We were going for a relaxed but stylish/trendy look. I loved the outfit Leilah wore to the shoot. It’s something she wears daily!

I asked Leilah whether she had any advice to offer others who were getting ready to take their pictures. This is what she had to share:

“Look up inspiration for sure! Such as types of poses and know what angles are flattering for you. Also, wear something that you feel confident in,” Leilah said.
