I always love photographing weddings. There’s so much love in the air and the bride and groom spent so much time carefully planning all the details. It was not any different for Carly and Neil’s wedding, either! I started capturing the details of their wedding day while they were each getting dressed at the same beach house. The beach house was a short walk down to the sand and water. The groom and his buddies were hanging out on the bottom floors while the bride and her bridesmaids were getting ready at the top level of the house. Even though they were getting ready in the same house, they chose to put off seeing each other in their wedding attire until Carly walked down the aisle.

Friends and family gathered on the beach to witness the bride and groom say their vows while the sunset in the background. The bride and groom were such an amazing couple to not only work with but to photograph as well. They were so photogenic, as you can tell from their wedding photos.

The Wedding:

When I asked Carly what her favorite part of the wedding was, she said:

“Our first look walking down the aisle.”

 

 

You could tell they were really loving every minute of their special day surrounded by family and friends who loved them.

 

 

 

As for me, one of my personal favorite moments of the wedding was when they exchanged their vows. I don’t know what it is, but I always tear up even though I don’t really know the bride and groom. I’m just a sucker for love stories! Just being there to witness two people become one is such an honor.
