Hi everyone! I’m sure you already know I am a published Wedding Photographer. I am so excited to write this blog because one of my photos made it on the cover of Our Love In Color magazine along with a feature inside.
A few months ago I went to Charleston, SC for an elegant southern styled shoot. Myself and other photographers spent the day at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens photographing this gorgeous couple and all of the beautiful details.
This shoot was southern charm if I’ve ever seen it. There was stunning Spanish moss, romantic and elegant florals, and tablescapes featuring Pantone’s color of the year; classic blue. Florals are my thing! I fell in love with the simplistic and classic florals that we had that day. They fit the brides dress perfectly and the overall vibe of the shoot. Seriously, tying in the blue with the silk ribbon on her bouquet? It was beautiful, in fact, it was the overall feel I took from this shoot. It was subtle yet stunning. Our bride and groom for the day were absolutely gorgeous and I knew that we had created real magic that day.
I decided to submit my photos to a few different outlets. The Carolinas Magazine, The Coordinated Bride Magazine, and Trends Wedding and Lifestyle Magazine, featured my gallery of images. I received a call from the editor at Our Love In Color Magazine, letting me know that my photo had been selected as a contender for the cover of their upcoming issue. Obviously, I was ecstatic! The public had to vote for their favorite image between my photo, along with 2 other photographers’ photos. I put the vote out on social media and had friends, family, and clients voting for my photo. Selected for the cover was my photo, of course!
Seeing your work published is such a special feeling. I’m so proud to be featured on the cover of Our Love In Color! You can visit their website at ourloveincolor.com to purchase the digital version of the magazine and check out more photos from this shoot below! Thank you to everyone who voted for my photograph, it means the world. Thank you to the vendors who made this shoot possible.
