Bonjour, everyone!

I am delighted to tell you about Sarah and Nathan’s wedding which started at Henderson Beach State Park and ended at 790 on the Gulf in Destin, FL. They story began 5 years ago…

Here’s how they met: Through a mutual friend, Kristen Clark. She had been trying to get them to meet for over a year, and finally, the timing was right!

As for the proposal, They traveled to Austin (their favorite city) for Nathans belated birthday trip, and he had this picnic all planned out. However, it rained the entire weekend. Instead, they had a very relaxing and lazy day watching movies all day and went out for dinner. Right after dinner, Sarah wanted to show Nathan how pretty the creek outside area behind the restaurant was. Nathan got down on one knee in the freezing rain and asked! At that exact moment, there was a lady walking past and she said: “Awwww I love LOVE!” LOL! It was the sweetest because it reminded me of my favorite show The Office of when Jim proposes to Pam! It was JUST like that! 🙂

The wedding was truly gorgeous. It was simple and intimate. Sarah and Nathan were surrounded by family and close friends. Sunset was just spectacular that evening.

The wedding ceremony was at Henderson Beach State Park followed by the reception at 790 on The Gulf. A big thank you goes out to these awesome vendors that helped make Sarah and Nathan’s day so special.

When asked about their overall wedding experience, Sarah says, “Wonderful! From start to finish it was SO fun and laid back, and that is exactly what we were going for. It was just very “us”.
